Zelda games aren't exactly known for good enemy design

That being said, I really wanna write something short and analytical about the Guardians in Breath of the Wild because, like. Goddamn if they aren't excellently designed to take advantage of the combat, movement and navigation systems of the game, and to provide a satisfying mechanical arc depending on if you're in the early, mid- or late game.

Gotta give it to Nintendy, they are really good at this whole "making videogames" business, and for all its flaws, Breath of the Wild has some of the greatest examples of this in recent memory :D
