So, there's a whole pattern with me where I find songs where the vibe of the song fits a character/ship I like, but then I look up the full lyrics and end up like "... well, never mind then"
Not this time, though -- Billie Eilish' "Bad Guy", turns out, is a great Prowl/Tarantulas song, and I am having a good time rn.

It's very good, it gets right in there what makes their dynamic so interesting.

Woof. Tarantulas was so attracted to Prowl for his ability to be cruel, to be amoral, functional, and while most of the song could easily be read as Tara thumbing his nose at Prowl for thinking he's better than Tara, that he's more deserving than Tara (because Tara is "the bad guy"), Tara just sees that as self-justification.
Prowl is not better than him. Prowl is exactly like him. They're perfect for each other.
Ugh, it's so dark, I love it.
