Tarantulas was so attracted to Prowl for his ability to be cruel, to be amoral, functional, and while most of the song could easily be read as Tara thumbing his nose at Prowl for thinking he's better than Tara, that he's more deserving than Tara (because Tara is "the bad guy"), Tara just sees that as self-justification.
Prowl is not better than him. Prowl is exactly like him. They're perfect for each other.
