My theory that you should always prime any conversation that includes even a little bit of moral ambiguity by asking how someone feels about furries keeps bearing out.

"Are you cool with people doing something that is actually harmless fun, but which society has decided to hate for its deviancy and implied association with weird sex" is SUCH a helpful litmus test for people's belief systems.

It's one of the best questions to use to also pinpoint exactly how "accepting" someone truly is. I never even have to hint at the existence of "weird" furries for people to out themselves as being judgemental because they feel the need to Not All Furries me on a statement I never made.

Or the "well some furries are white supremacists" crowd, as if white supremacy isn't a problem in, oh, every single community ever.
