I'm still kind of getting used to drinking alcohol, and one of the things that throws me the worst is that logically I know a tallboy of cider has more alcohol than my fancy drink with very little sugar I mixed with a bit of berry or caramel liqueur for taste, but every time I end up feeling offended about the former going to my head, like, immediately, and the latter taking its sweet time and sometimes not even giving me a buzz.
