I can't honestly describe how irritating it is to me that my main objection to any sort of Christian Creationism is just that the stories are bad

like they're just bad

I am better at worldbuilding than this! I can provably produce better answers, more compelling ones, ones that actually tie into the ~~scant few~~ non-abhorrent morals the Christian Bible has! I can't even get to "under what circumstances would I find this compelling" because I get so hung up on the "why isn't this better-written, you've had two thousand years to apply some basic fucking structural editing techniques and literary analysis to your own myths"

How does a religion this big have an origin myth that is this unfuckable?
