I think the thing that annoys me the most is the assumptions about my motivations. Like if they asked me, I would tell them that Rekudo is for people to get off the treadmill of clicking kudos and think about whether or not they want the author to know they really enjoy this work. And sometimes the answer to that is "no" -- that's why Rekudo takes by default two clicks to send the message.
Like tbh the people complaining that I'm mean to audiences who don't want to comment are way more right than the people who whinge about how 'extra kudos!' is not meaningful feedback. Like, no shit -- that's not what Rekudo is for! It's a tool to get away from the habit-forming behaviour of clicking like and doing jack all else!
