Y'know I was entertaining the idea of, as a joke, making a post that was obviously shippy and then putting one of those aggressive DNIs with threats of violence on it for people who would tag it as "familial" but then I remembered that people have had to actually do that in the past when the homophobes of fandom descended on people innocently shipping away and tried to make it about how they're "like brothers" or something.

Honestly the fandom is generally, uh. bad about imposing human social dynamics on the robots, especially a certain subset of "infuriating person who got into TF through one of the most popular titles running during the 2015-2017 heyday of stupid fandomwank". Ironically the one instance where a case for actual robot pederastry/incest could be made, I've never seen anyone get mad about -- presumably because the case is too easy to make and everyone shipping it is fully committed to making it a Problematic Trainwreck.
