I went on to reblog a really good addition I made to a post that, uh. Had some good ideas but was kind of... rough with its implications only to discover that the OP has blocked me at some point, and now I'm debating what the best most ethical way of reposting the reply to it I made because I think my additional analysis and headcanons were genuinely pretty good.

The options are broadly:

1) summarise the OP somehow, and acknowledge that my comment was directly to challenge some of the more essentialist assumptions that bothered me

2) Leave out the summary and just vague about having seen the kind of thing that made me write the reply in the first place.

3) IDK just retool the whole thing as best I can even if it doesn't quite make sense without the additional context of "so I saw this thing and it was Bad"
