I used to have a two hour commute and now I never leave my house. Driving feels surreal. Everything is so loud that I think it's all about to break; I don't remember what cars are supposed to sound like anymore.
When I was commuting I'd use the notes/Google Keep function to dictate random fic ideas from speech-to-text while something came to mind, and then (when safely home) attempt to correct any weird errors it misheard before I forgot what I was trying to say.
