(for those unaware of what the title refers to, here you go)

I really hope that once I'm done with school, I never have to touch a welding torch again. Sure, by the end of this I hope I can weld (hell, if I manage to get everything done in an orderly fashion maybe I'll try getting qualified for like a PB 2F for shits and giggles) and that I never have to do it again.

Like I don't mind when my welds look bad b/c my hand just doesn't work and I'm having a bad time of it, but when my welds fail and I burn holes in work pieces b/c my bench got too hot from going at it for too long??? No. Why? That's not fair, I hate that. The basic physics of conductivity should really give me a fucking break.

Also the fucking thing bit me today >:( (i.e. I got an electric shock b/c I was trying to affix a piece and I accidentally touched it with the electrode. I'm surprised it hasn't happened before, tbh. I also have yet to accidentally poke the electrode with the filler, which is a miracle considering how unsteady my left hand is.)
