All of my frustration with Mesmerizer being 2/3rd the length of a real song aside, I absolutely understand why it randomly became the absolute biggest possible thing among Vocaloid fans because watching Kasane Teto realise in real time that she's stuck in the nightcore nightmare dimension and that all of her communication towards the audience to please help her out is futile because none of us care!!!

It's viscerally relatable. Oops your problems are much worse than you thought and what turned out to be cries of help have gone totally unseen by everyone around you. Poor you!
