Glitterparty time!!

I've missed a couple of years of ESC (I watched them but I just wasn't up for blogging about them) but this year I've got my head together, I've got snacks, and I've got Tumblr open to watch other people liveblog the thing in case it's boring and I have nothing to say about it XD

I don't even know who got eliminated in the semis because I was working evenings this week :) it'll be all a surprise

I am into the production values this year. ESC is at its finest when it's literally completely exploded into sparkles

I can appreciate that the ballads are tilting more towards a Florence+The Machine sound (except for that one), so that they work just more as pacing songs for the more explosive numbers.

Like once again Italy is just.... superior at throwing shows like this. The sound checks are all good, also, which is actually pretty rare for ESC. For a contest all about singing, people are out of tune a TRULY ridiculous amount of time.
