Food natterings

I may have to hazard a noodle run to Oulu soon, b/c I am almost out of wok ingredients and udon and the noodles you can get from regular chain stores are flatly inferior for this purpose.

I bought the least-offensive looking egg noodles, hoping they'd at least tide me over before I found better rice noodles, and their texture is awful :( My life is hard.
