I really wanna talk about Indivisible because it's cute, the animation is gorgeous, I love so, so many of the characters and the gameplay has a ton of nuance, energy and strategy to it

but the words, man

they're not going

(Also I don't wanna post spoilers yet b/c I wanna see where the plot is going with a particular part of the Thing(tm).)

People will say "the new Tumblr group chats will cause so much drama and so many fights" and then voluntarily use them anyway.

Just because you tune in to watch what the suckers are doing doesn't mean Tumblr isn't profiting off of you, y'know`

I slept through multiple alarms and text messages so I think today, officially, is just a day I spend collapsed from exhaustion.

It's been a long few months.

This day continues to be bad -- I spent the entire day playing Indivisible and being bad at it until I quit out of frustration, because I completely forgot Death Stranding came out today, and thus I missed my friend playing it for the entire goddamn day.

:(

I should have just told them to tell me when they got started but I frankly wussed out on it in case they didn't want me there making commentary and now I'm both put-out and also feeling bad and unwanted.

At this point, I feel like my gut feeling of "jokes based on misusing a word are Bad and there are ways to communicate the existential absurdism most of them point to as the source of strife" has been validated enough that I'm just gonna. As a whole personally stop making those jokes.

"Men ain't shit" jokes are radfem dogwhistles. "Me, a gay, being inconvenienced is homophobia" has led to there legitimately being a class of people who think anything bad happening to queer people is "homophobic" or "a hate crime". And, well, we've always known self-deprecating jokes aren't helpful.
