(It hurts :'D)
Monday, 23 September 2019 21:39Aikido today! Actually this was the second time this fall, I was just Very Tired after the first lesson last week.
We did sankyo and nikyo and while my wrists and shoudlers are not grateful, my knees are. The weather is getting cold, I'm getting sore, so having the soreness kinda spread around at least means I can keep working instead of needing to take days off every time I have a lesson.
(I say as I plan to do nothing tomorrow except Lie Very Still All Day.)
Over the summer it was confirmed that there was something fucky with my joints, most likely hypermobility, so I probably also need to take up something to strengthen myself. Probably swimming, since I actually Cannot Stand either running or going to the gym. Although, like, we'll see, right now it looks like just one lesson a week tires me out so bad I can't do shit for the rest of the week. Lovely to know my joints really only had guarantee for 20 years.
