I DIDN'T MEAN TO I'M SORRY
Aaaaa so I have my clematis indoors still and the lad has been growing new branches and a few new bulbs just fine, and today I went to adjust one of the branches so it wouldn't wrap around my dracaena
and
the damn thing broke off
I stood there paralysed for a whole minute, trying to process having wronged my son like this, before people on a Discord server I frequent told me I should stick the branch in water and hope it grows roots.
So my plantblogging for this spring sure starts out well!
(To be fair, my plantblogging technically started when I brought the clematis up from the cellar and had to prune away the ghost branches it had grown over the winter. I was honestly super surprised to see it had survived, and was delighted to see it grow green after it started to get sunlight and water. The lad may actually bloom this year, if I get lucky.)
(Oh and also 3/4 of my tomato sprouts are doing great. I'm gonna plant lemongrass and mizuna soon, and cucumbers later in spring.)
