Out wirh you, damned plotbunny

I keep circling a draft about post-war things b/c it's in a fascinating intersection of "I take this character's development in a direction that is perfectly rational if you understand the difference between conscript military and civil service, but that is wildly outside of the norm for the fandom" and "it's an intensely emotional piece, written in the same overflowing and effusive way Erotic/Aversive is and I'm still not entirely sure if I like it".

So it's a fic other people might not like, which I'm also not sure I like? But at the same time it's a scenario I really like,to the point where I'm wondering if half-assing it with bordering on OOC characterisation is the right call, but which also radically changes (and stops being as fun) if I choose to use the Fandom-preferred Characterisation.

I still need to find a supplier of chinotto that ships to Finland but I gotta admit the Ginger People beer is pretty good.

It's like 4€ a bottle.

Which isn't good.

But it scratches that itch and also isn't as terribly sweet as ginger ale.
