The (perhaps slightly self-destructive) urge to lay out the most twisted, disturbing, unhealthy read of my ship and crosspost that shit on Tumblr just to be clear that not only am I aware of it, I am actively pro-"shipping my OTP that way", in case my constantly reblogging posts about how shipping discourse is bad and it's good to stare into the abyss, actually, hasn't alienated all the people I know just four years ago were hard at turning the fandom into a hellscape of purity wank.
