I really just want to avoid adding software inbetween b/c I need the RAM

There's this really useful plug-and-play software called VoiceMeeter that goes between Windows sound source and software that takes sound input and lets you do variable mixes, used by streamers but I'm not using that for our stream.

I'm managing my sound-sources manually, because apparently I'm a masochist.
