The metaphor falls apart really bad in movie 2 (which is the biggest reason I didn't bother watching/reading forward) and ends up squandering the set-up by turning more into a story about general territorialism and "human nature", but yeah, the first movie works so well I genuinely thought the coding was deliberate. What is there for neurotypicals to relate to, even??? |D
